Thank you! =) I must admit, I initially had trouble writing Alistair in a way that would get him and his feelings across properly; I'm glad to know I pulled it off.

As for writing more...in general, definitely; in this storyline, depends on if Cousland can trap some more plot bunnies for me.

Yes, I rarely harden Alistair through on my playthroughs (feeling too bad to get rid of that rare naiveté in him) but in Cousland's case I just couldn't see her letting him take the throne without being fully prepared for the responsibility first.
