I'm horrible at watching TV alone too! I usually have to be flipping between something else (reading/tweeting) to make it bearable. ....I'm just not that good at TV tbh.

Still, fandom conclave or something. Gotta get erryone together to watch this kind of stuff.

Yeah, the solution is probably to get an online party. Or even an offline one, though that would be a lot of partying to get through the first 5 seasons!

Regarding #2, I stopped watching SPN after Season 1 because it was too horrorish for me. Usually, I wouldn't be able to watch something like CM, but I started some time ago and I'm halfway through. I'm mostly motivated by the fact that the show was created by Jeff Davis and that I know there are LGBT characters on a more or less regular basis. Also, Reid was supposed to be bi but the network (I think?) didn't agree with it. :/

I could write several entire posts about the things I love about Criminal Minds! It's the only crime show I have any interest in watching. It has strong female representation, some good feminist moments, tons of hot people, men with the history of sexual trauma instead of women, and decent ethnic diversity especially in cops-of-the-week.

I'm a heretic who didn't like S1 and decided to watch S4-5 to find out what the whole Castiel thing was about. I liked what I watched, but it still didn't hold my interest enough to continue watching beyond that.

I love Mark Sheppard with a love that is entirely unseemly, so I have a feeling that would make S4-5 more palatable. I've seen a couple of those episodes but out of order it was confusing.
