YES AND YES. I LOVE YOU FOR SAYING THIS. It really gets to the heart of what bothers me the most about the whole "not a real geek girl" accusation: the hypocrisy of it all. So often women use their bodies and their sexuality in order to make it easier to exist and be heard in male-dominated social spaces BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO. Or because it's just easier to. Or because sometimes it's nice to get attention. That's just the way it is in a world where women are shut out of activities that, by their very nature, SHOULDN'T BE EXCLUSIVELY GUYS-ONLY. And then when those same guys that don't want girls in their special club turn around and call women whores it makes me all fsdajkfdjafjjfkasdsj HULK ANGRY.

Anyway. I LOVE YOU!! <3

I use my power of boobies to be a better geek! Or maybe not better, but to accomplish what most geeks are going for: the opportunity to talk at way too much length about their interests to a captive audience.
