is suicide a personal problem or a friends problem?

it depends.
but look at it this way:

if you were suicidal, would you want everyone to know.. not really. to them it's personal. but think about if they went through with it. who would be suffering.? US. not them. so.. it becomes a friend's problem. it's social, even if it sucks telling their parents/guide.

Saw your last post.......suicide is a personal problem that if successiful, it shows that one did not share concerns/issues with friends.....friends will help one get through or over the issues so suicide is not necessary....you know that I love ya bunches and will always be there when you need me to be -- to listen or talk!

I'm away for the week and miss you bunches! Hope all is well. See you Thursday night when I get home. In the meantime, I've rekindled friendships with 5 friends from highschool/gradeschool and spent condiderable time wth family members. It's nice to know that we can influence friendships as a teenager, and also 30 years later. I thank God for the ability to influence friends and family and hope that I can always be a positive light in a dark world.
