As many of you may know, I went home to the UK this summer. So here is my run down of what happened.

[Week 1]Flight to Hong KongThere seemed to be an abundance of 1st flyers on the plane, with surprised yelps on take off and what I can only describe as cries of fear when we hit turbulence later on in the flight. So it was a bit weird for me. I was sat Read more... )

You get all the way to the UK only to meet a cousin who lives in Tokyo? That is hilarious!

Oh, those rides...glad you enjoyed them, I'll be over here! LOL!

Jam-packed week, holy cow!! No wonder you are tired now!

*hugs you*

Technically he isn't related to me. He is... my dad's girlfriend's brother-in-law's nephew. It's so much easier to say "cousin" xDDD

I love a good rollercoaster/thrill ride ^^ I enjoyed it loads!

Consider then that there are still 3 weeks left to post...

*hugs*

I did not know picnic baskets came equipped with cutlery holders; I am intrigued xDD

All that food looks delicious (of course I gravitate towards the food pics *____*) I've never heard of most of those cakes though-- I kind of want to try that cherry and coconut; is there something sprinkled on top? It looks like cinnamon, or just a flaky top xD; Lemon's my favorite flavour for cake, but nobody else in my family likes it so I end up eating it by myself, hahaha~ But I'm the same with you on coffee; love the smell, but I can't really drink it |D;

Your first weeks sounds like an absolute blast <3 Also tiring, haha~

That's what we could call a traditional picnic basket. You can get them with up to 8 sets of cutlery I think. But they are sooooo expensive. This one was a hand me down.

I think it's just the cake mixture and extra sugar? My aunt, who made them all, does love sugar.

I am exhausted, well... not so much now that I've been back a few days, but still not sleeping right.

Wow, I hate that hurry-up and wait of traveling, but it sounds like it was worth it! I'm glad you got to catch up with family and friends. <3

Also, the kiddos with the pool are adorable, and the flowers are cute, too!

It was my own stupidity and tiredness that led to the mistake, usually I'm a good traveller!

I do love my nieces! The flowers are the only real part of the garden! The grass and hedge are fake! There is too much shadow from the neighbours garden to get light anywhere except where those flowers are!

Whoa, I couldn't tell they were fake hedges! Sucks about the shade situation, but it looks like a nice compromise. Nice and homey. :)
