So I've started jogging! I'm aiming for 3 times a week, 4km each time (about 30 minutes each time). My current trainers are fine for general sports, but not for jogging/running. So I went to buy some more trainers!
Pictures yay! I should really get motivated to go running too... I've been trying to go out walking every day during summer vacation so I at least don't become a vegetable. But I can always do more!
I've been 3 times in the last week, I tend to go about 8pm when it's cooler and there aren't so many kids at the park. But the park has a 1.5km track winding through it so I just run on that. I do some muscle exercises on the in between days mainly for my core and have 1 day where I do nothing. Allowing for repair and all that jazz. I just want to tone up a bit so I can join in more at school.
Yes, morning is best right? Unluckily for me, Cat is a light sleeper so if I get up in the morning she wakes up too. Although it might be better if I just get out of the house and go running for an hour instead of going back to sleep, haha. Sounds like you have a good plan down; the park by my house isn't that big, the track is about the same size as a school field. XD
For me the evening is best. I went in the morning once, too many kids. But whatever works for you! As long as you know the size then it's fine, you just do more laps. Or, hit the pavement and run on the street. Plenty of people do that.

i'm just keeping to swimming once a week these days XD
