It's not mean at all! I've been laughing to myself about the stupidity of it all since he managed to find it yesterday.

And it seems to be working out. Got a nice cheery FB "thank you" last night which makes that little spark of hope a bit brighter.

At least he found it! :'D Even with the most explicit instructions, I'm horrible at finding things and always need my mom's help. In which she comes into the room, goes "It's right in front of your face" and points to what I was looking for..... right in front of my face :x

It boils down to him not knowing a lot of English and my written Japanese not being very good, speaking is what I'm better at. I know other people like that!

But yes, he found it and seems to be happy I gave it to him, in a round about way, so things might be looking good.

My company has a policy of no Japanese to the kids.If there is ever a need for Japanese in the classroom, it comes from the Japanese English teacher.
