Thank you, I couldn't get quite the right shade of blue for the thread, but thankfully it's a small enough part of the scarf for it not to be a huge issue. It is really pretty. I just have to make sure Mum doesn't steal it next time she visits.
It was really nice to visit the aquarium with him. Japanese people are funny, I kept hearing "Ooooh it looks delicious" all day xD
I've tried both directly through LJ and via the "paste the URL" thing. The old upload to PB and choose from your own PB account seems to have disappeared completely from the journal insert image page. I have no idea why as they used to work just fine.
It means I have time to do actual Christmas shopping, and looking at the calender there's only 8 weeks, which for me amounts to 16 free days! So I don't actually have that much time all things considered.
Probably though girl = pink as a safe bet. I shall have to enlighten him. Maybe point out the colour schemes for my apartment: blue, purple and white, and green.
Ah, see being from the UK Halloween isn't that big a thing (I usually just end up watching movies) and we don't do Thanksgiving. The only other thing we have before Christmas is Guy Fawkes but that's more of a "let's make a bonfire and set off some fireworks" thing. So Christmas is my next big thing.
Oh yes, I've been here before with the whole "pink" thing. I just have to tell him "uh, next time something not pink, any colour but pink" but this time... well it's the first gift he's bought me so I wasn't going to say anything about it. Besides, it is really pretty.
I know right, I felt so lucky to get the whole thing in the picture! I took nearly 200 in total, but those are my favourites. It's really hard to photograph through what is essentially several centimetres of reinforced glass.
I don't mind the new photo-uploader for single shots, but I did have trouble copying and pasting the URLs when I posted multiple photos - it took three tries before I got them all on there! D: I wish they would have kept the photobucket part; it was so much easier, especially for bandwidth-draining photos.
Congrats on finishing the scarf! :D I'm sure he'll love it! As for the handkerchief, it's lovely! He really did a good job. You can just send it to me I love pink, lol.
I've been having a similar problem with livejournal and pictures. ): For me it doesn't take time to upload, just it will only upload 1/3 of the time I use it. =___=
