The version we play is that each person has a word from a list written on the board. The person in the middle says a sentence using a set piece of grammar and uses one of the words from the list. The people who have that word have to get up and change seats as well as the person who spoke. The person left standing has to say a new sentence.
It can get a bit rough if you don't keep on top of it but it's fun and you can use it for lots of grammar points using statements.
Basically we're playing the same game, but I'm making them practise grammar instead of just words because I'm playing with 10-14 year olds who need to practise their grammar xD
When I play this at Elementary level then we just say the words and I don't make them speak complete sentences.
Oh it was funny don't get me wrong, and since we didn't get seriously hurt it's fine. The boy who I took the tumble with is in the baseball AND sumo club's and so it's pretty hard to beat up xD
I have two epic bruises the size of softballs D= One on my left shin (how I don't know bearing in mind I fell backwards) and the other on the back of my left upper arm which kills. I'll be fine as long as I don't lean on anything.
