Ohno Satoshi moaned as he was cruelly pulled himself from sleep as little feet jumped up and down and a high pitched voice male squealed;
“Daddy! Wake up! Daddy!”
“Un…I’m awake…” He grunted opening an eye and looking at his bright sunshine, his darling son, Riku. The boy was everything that was good in his life and he reached out grabbing one of the chunky legs and pulling him down to much delight and squealing from the boy. Getting to his knees he started to tickle at his armpits loving the sound of his laughter. The boy wiggled and wriggled around in the bed his laughter like a bell around the room and Satoshi found himself laughing along until Riku grunted and pushed him away gasping;
“I gotta pee!”
“Then go! Go pee!” Satoshi chuckled getting to his feet as his son darted back out of the room towards the bathroom leaving him to get slowly to his feet and drag himself over to the chest of drawers at the end of his bed his eyes on the picture of his wife who had sadly passed away when bringing Riku into the world. Theirs hadn’t been a love match but it had been a happy marriage and his heart had broken when she’d died. Riku had been the only thing that had pulled him through and made him smile. After saying a silent good morning to the photograph he pulled on a vest and then a shirt before taking out a pair of charcoal trousers.
“Daddy, I peed!” Riku announced and Satoshi gave a chuckle that was drowned out by the flushing of the toilet and the knocking on a door. Frowning he checked his watch and saw that it was time for his assistant to arrive. An annoying little flutter crept into his heart as he thought about his assistant, Ninomiya Kazunari. The man had started working for him three months ago when his former assistant had decided to marry and have children. “Nino-chan’s here!” Riku cried excitedly running to the door his excitement having to stand on his tiptoes to reach the handle. “Nino-chan!”
“Hey, Riku! Have you been fighting with Sora again?” Nino chuckled sweeping into the room and picking the boy up into a tight hug as Riku let out a giggle. Nino was great with his son as well as being perfectly efficient in running his life and Satoshi was utterly and completely in love with him though he knew that it was impossible. Nino was beautiful, only as tall as he was and thinner and a softer, paler skin tone making him seem a whole lot more vulnerable than he really was.
“No! I wasn’ta fighting Sora! Nino-chan!”
“Of course not...” Nino chuckled walking further into the room and placing him back down on the floor and looking through his personal communications device. “Ohno-san good morning, you have three appointments for today and there’s some phone calls that you’ll have to make…”
“Okay, thank-you…” Satoshi smiled pulling his eyes away from the narrow but beautiful face reminding himself that he hadn’t yet put on his trousers. Hurrying to do so he knew that this was going to be an awkward day.
