Hah, so you finally got to see Wicked--and at the Casting Stones theatre as well! :P Does it surprise you that I agree with you on almost every critique, especially the slow-moving first half? But the voices of those women! Damn, ~this~ is the reason I can't stand American Idol, because none of those wanna-be stars can hold a musical candle to our own theatre artists in this town

The book was great. I agree with wizbiz911. So bitter and sexual and violent; I won't be able to watch the Tin Man the same way ever again.
