Gah sometimes I forget how many fandoms we share :)

I completely forgot Bones on my whole meme. I guess I went from being obsessed (you know the whole "new show" feeling) to just kinda underwhelmed in a few months. There are a few episodes that have completely blown me away (mainly Aliens in a Spaceship, The Graft in The Girl, etc.), but in the majority, I just feel kinda "eh" about the whole show. I love me some Jack/Angela, and Booth/Brennan could be good if handled the right way but I do agree that it seemed rushed this season.

I don't think anybody was pleased with how the George/Izzie storyline played out, shippers and non-shippers alike. As much as I hated the whole thing, I can't believe Shonda caved on it. It just seemed like she realized that a lot of people had a problem with it, so she half-assed it until they broke up/whatever that was in the last episode. The show has just gotten too popular for its own good.

am I the only one who thinks it felt really rushed?

No, you're not and I am so glad you feel the same way. I think most of this comes from the fact that I'm still so disappointed that their first kiss was written a little like bad fanfiction, but still. I think that this season should have been more about the build-up starting to come to a head, and then the season finale has something where they realized their feelings. Then beginning of S4 could have them deal with the realization, and then have them finally together in the middle of the season.

...I've given this a lot of thought.

Thank God I'm not alone! I just didn't like that the first two seasons had a very slow, very gradual buildup. Then this season, all of a sudden, I felt like they were being pushed together in ways that just didn't feel in-character. (i.e. the therapy scenes, as wonderful as some of those were; the drinking moments; the kiss on the cheek, which really felt awkward for me; the kiss...)

And for me, the problem with the kiss was that they had to destroy a perfectly wonderful character to make it happen. I've loved Caroline Julian since her first appearance in season one, and that was not in character for her at all. If they had to force it to the point where people weren't being themselves, it was obviously not the right time or situation.
