Bad fantasy

I read the Slow Regard of Silent Things, the novella by Patrick Rothfuss during the week.  He is an extremely aggravating (and confusing, given his popularity) author to me.  I'm going to tell you briefly about the book, but don't worry, there are no spoilers since nothing happens

I get the impression that this dude is surrounded by yes men and women, including his editor. That's just me being uncharitable though, since I don't like him!

Ranting about crap fantasy novels is one of my favourite things. It's great that there's a silver lining to wasting one's time reading rubbish.
