 I got the most beautiful red roses I have ever seen today, and sent from a person who is half way around the world from me.  It was one of the sweetest things any man has ever done for me and he's in Iraq to boot.

 I just broke my own heart.  I've fallen in love with a man that I can never, never have.  How did I get here?  I didn't even know my heart could still be broken.  *sigh*

I wish I had an Edward of my own (see The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer to know what I'm talking about.)  I need someone to love me like that, someone that I can lean on when I need to be held up.  I think I had that once but I lost it and now there is no going back.  So here I am, holding up my family through what looks to be a very tough time ( Read more... )
