Looking for anime information

I would like to make a music video for a book I read, but there's no movie attached to this book and thus I have no source material. I decided to try to find characters from existing shows that matched enough for me to make a vid anyway. I thought to myself, "Of course, anime would be perfect" and promptly drew a giant blank. Help
