I joked last week on Facebook that October was going to be awesome, if it didn't kill me. Maybe this was only 90% of a joke? The truth is, I think October's going to be awesome. I've been doing well, just performing the eternal juggling act, trying to balance writing, schoolwork, work work, and family time in a satisfactory way.

I just finished a new story this morning, which is always a relief (Gosh, I'm just so happy to not have to look at the darn thing for a while!). That may be my quarterly WotF entry... or maybe not, I've still got a couple months before I really have to decide.

Now that I'm done with that, I'm catching up on read-throughs and critiques that I've promised people over the weeks of writing this story.

And I'm looking forward to the Tricks or Treats stories, both to see how my own story sounds in audio, and to get all the stories from all the folks who chipped in! :)

Yeah, I really need to finish up a few short stories. Like three. Good times ahead!
