For me, the writing almost always comes easier when I do NOT have time dedicated to sit down and do it. Because when an idea's really hot, it keeps nipping at my brain until it's fully grown, even if I'm not typing at it at the time, and then it's just a matter of putting on my invisibility cloak and typing it out.
Occasionally I have a whole day or afternoon just to work on writing, and what do I do? I sit in front of my computer, frustrated that nothing is happening. In theory, I would love to write for a living. But in practice, if I tried to sit down and do it in such a structured way, I would never produce another word again.

But right now: I definitely need more time! Scratching out words here and there is great, but geez, I'd love to have an hour or two that I could take a big chunk out of it. Alas.
