The latest episode of This American Life is about heretics -- namely one incredibly influential pentecostal preacher with a congregation of 5,000 who believes he heard God one day tell him hell does not exist.  And thus became a heretic.

It's a fascinating listen.

Wonderful episode. I first heard about Carlton Pearson's and his gospel of inclusion about five years ago and have been trying to follow his journey ever since. It’s such a fascinating story, and if I ever find myself in Tulsa again, I’ll make an effort to attend a service.

They said he was currently working on writing some books about the Gospel of Inclusion. I'd definitely want to check those out.
