Room 229, just killin' time.

Jan 09, 2006 17:49

Kristy reclines on her bed, iPod plugged into her ears. She has the door propped open to watch people walk by, keeping an eye out for anyone who might look interesting. She repeatedly tosses and catches a softball.

Alanna was prowling the second floor, trying to find room 229 which hopefully had her 'little sister'. Faithful was happily curled up on her shoulder, enjoying the show. "Got it." Alanna knocked on the door. "Now hopefully someone's inside." Faithful refrained from comment.

Kristy hears the knocking through the strains of the Foo Fighters on her iPod. She pulls the headphones off, tosses the iPod on the bed, then hops up to answer the door.

"Just a sec." She pulls the door open to see a girl and a cat. "Um. Hi. Can I... help you?"

Faithful made an odd noise in Alanna's ear, so the red-headed pulled on his tail behind her back. "Hey, Kristy? I've been assigned to be your big sister here. Alanna, by the way. The odd rhyming posters are mine." When it's evident that Alanna isn't going to introduce him, Faithful added his own two cents. "I'm Faithful. Always."

Kristy drops the softball, which bounces twice then rolls across the room. "Um, your cat just... spoke to me." She rubs her eyes, wondering if she just didn't get enough sleep.

Edward meandered back towards the room lost in thought. He had at least managed to remember to pick up his books and the soccer ball before leaving the common room, but aside from that his head was in a whirl.

When he saw the door to the room propped open, he stopped in confusion. He looked in the room. There was a girl in there. He looked back at the room number. Yup, this was his room.

If he thought he was confused before, that was an understatement.
