I swear, there are few things on this Earth I love more than Cathedrals, except for, you know, people. I find it really amusing a little Jewish, hippy child LOVES cathedrals so much. Even when I visit new places, just take me to a cathedral and I'll be happy. Ask
ahimsa114 , she figured it out ages ago. I mean, it makes sense because there are few man-made places that revel in God's glory as much as Cathedrals. I mean, it's a glorious place of worship. All the stained glass windows are pretty and the high arched ceilings just leave you with a feeling of expansiveness.
Anyway, tonight I went to Litquake's
Poets in Pews event. There was one line of one poem that really got to me that I can't quite remember. It went something like, "God lifts me up to remind of my senseless fear of heights." It's something I'm trying to remember. That I'm trying to reach new heights and I have no reason to be afraid.
