Haha... no, you are not alone. There are others like us lurking in the darkness of fandom. I actually had this idea when brainstorming perfect fandom matches for SPN and realized I had never seen a crossover with Brimstone. Totally surprised me given the S2 finale, which to me mirrors the prison break that was so central to Stone's job. So, you'll be getting more soon. Satan is coming to collect on Dean's end of the deal now that the YED is no longer making a takeover bid for the lower planes (aka Hell and Earth)

Intriguing. I like your portrayal of Dean, and the elements of Brimstone have me curious about that show as I have never seen it. I can't wait to see what follows!

Glad I've caught your interest. Thanks for the comment. And the show is worth hunting down on bittorrent. I'm not actually sure what stations (if any) the reruns are showing on at the moment. Hopefully, you'll manage to hang onto your intrigue when Satan makes his return appearance to collect on Dean's end of the bargain.

Oho, this is interesting. Nice twist, a S2-finale response starting just before the series. I can't wait to see where it goes. I very much like the explanation for Dean's amulet, very cool. :) That deal sounds too good. I bet that nasty catch will fuck them royally, won't it?

Thanks, I'm glad you like. I didn't have the idea until I saw the S2 finale and, after a few months of thought, all the pieces just sort of fell into place. So I needed to get the pre-series background in for it to make sense.

Amulet!fic should be considered its own genre in SPN. We're all just so curious as to what the deal is with that thing.

As to the deal, well, it does sound a little too good to be true doesn't it? And as to how it will fuck them over royally, how do you know it hasn't already started? If you take a look at the wording Satan uses and think back over the past two seasons, you'll probably see what I'm talking about. If not, you definitely will in the next part. And it only gets worse from here. 'Cause you can't beat the devil at his own game, even if you are Dean Winchester.
