Well, having no TV, I had to wait until someone posted the episode online to watch it. And I just finally did.

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed. While there were some really good scenes (Dean's monologue, Bobby and Dean's conversation, John and Dean near the end), overall, it just wasn't messy enough. While I can understand what and why Dean

Honey, if it's pissed you off this much, you'll end up writing a complete redo of the episode at the very least. ~grins~ Please do--your serial killer/insane Dean is getting the muses antsy...

The problem is, I think that "Flesh, Blood, Bone" just turned into my personal canon for how I think it should have gone down. This has so totally killed all my ideas except the Sam POV sequel to that AU. I'm not sure I can come up with another fix :(

I don't even know if I can turn to fic because, after watching the ep, I wanted to know if anyone else felt the same way and, out of 50 comments that I read, only about 2 agree with me. Everyone else is "OMG! I love *heart* *heart* *shiny bubbles*". What's bothering me is I just don't GET that. I mean, complete incomprehension. It's like my brain just isn't wired right or something.

Gah. Arg.

Maybe you're right. Perhaps I'll wake up with some massive AU idea tomorrow. I hope so, because I have loved the show up until this point. I mean, it got me to write fic after several years of never finishing a single story.
