 I can't help but think how tragic it is when parents outlive their children.  Parent's should never have to have the burden of having to bury their kids.  Children are suppose to be their legacy... they live to act as the living representation of everything that came before them and, like their parents, acheive their own lasting legacy that

Jay, I'm so very sorry to hear about your friend and the whole experience with his family member. People say and do strange things during times of loss. It sounds like he was a great man and to have friends present at his side through his last moments that care for him as deeply as you do, makes me think that he must have lived a beautiful life full of love and friendship.
