I feel like I'm at home at my old desk at the henhouse now, and the days when whenever I asked my old mentor magpaj how to do something, he silently reached for matt Austern's Generic Programming and the STL and made me read some totally incomprehensible algorithm ( Read more... )

And (the handy reference page on the inside cover) doesn't exist in the original. You may have gotten it mixed up with the Catalysis Book, or one of the patterns books.

It still is the only book you need on STL though.
