*starts knitting woolen socks to cold people in Israel *

Stupid people, one thing is that computers might like not-too-warm environments, but what is most important, computers or people?

Switch on all the light you can, they give of quite a lot of heat. And of course, tea.

Also red socks are considered the best to keep you warm and to ward of a cold.

*Norwegians have a long tradition to knit woolen socks for Israel or the darkest of Africa. I never understood what they needed wollen socks for in these areas, since they are supposed to be hot! It turned out that the socks were used as prizes in lotteries in churches, and the money was sent to missionaries who tried to convert the locals. I think I liked the thought of socks better. Ooh...Thank you thank you thank you kritzit February 6 2005, 12:33:39 UTC
I could certinally use that today :)
Usually I'm hot. Most days you would find everyone else in my office wearing sweaters, and I'm the only one walking around with T-shirt.
But, today it's really freezing here. (I'm not talking about a few degrees below the zero of course, but somehow, it's really cold here today.
Or... maybe... I'm not dressed warm enough... hmmm... I wonder...

Here you are!

Things are really upside down, because it's rather warm here (relatively of course), today I can walk around in t-shirt at home. Haven't done that since September!

When I was 17 I worked in a special room for precise measurement equipment that had to be kept at a constant 14 degrees. It was July and I was carrying a hefty coat with me everywhere :)
