to full time diaper one child and wash them every other day they reccommend 24 prefolds. I think you could probably get away with 18 if you plan on tossing them in the washer *every* 24 hours.

I plan on having 20-30, but I dont think that they will all get used before I do a load. I ended up doing a load about every other day.
