I have been so tired all day! I don't know what my problem is. I had to go to a workshop in Wood-Ridge on the new reading program but that is all I did for the most part. I do have woman issues though and that is probably what it is. I am so hungry and tired! I hate being a girl sometimes ( Read more... )

I can't believe how domestic and girly you're becoming - I love it! You should be all dorky about planning your wedding. I don't see why you wouldn't be. If I was nearby I'd get all dorky with you (I still kinda am, just without you being here).

The bachelorette party sounds good - too bad the bride won't be there :-/. Well, stuff a buck in the stripper's G-string for me :-P.

Things are pretty crazy, so I don't know when a good weekend to visit is. But I've been meaning to invite you to Myrtle Beach. Mike and I are going August 11-14. You guys should come! You could fly Hooters Air direct ;-) (I think AirTran goes there, too, but they don't have any cleavage). Or you could fly here and drive out there with us... it would be cheaper since you're not working anyway so it's not like you'd have to take time off or anything.

Another good weekend is the one surrounding July 23. I'm cohosting a bachelorette party - you should come and party with us!

Oh you have no idea. They have been living together since she was 18 and she is 23 now. He is such a jerk. He told her he doesn't love her anymore, doesn't want to marry her, and doesn't want to live with her!! She is devastated. Also I want to kick his ass because I am out $500 bucks between the shower, dress etc. The wedding would have been July 23rd. The best part is that he says he still wants to date her! HELLO!? Crazy! She says to me she wants to work it out with me! okay I am out of it!

yay weddings :) are you a knottie also? I'm obsessed with that board.

We are looking to buy a house too, but we don't know where I will be working in September (I have an interview in Red Bank tomorrow, and I applied to a firm in Hackensack-- two very very places far apart, and far from my current promised job in Warren township!)-- so its been hard.

That sucks about your friend :( I'd be so upset.

Houses in North NJ are ridiculous now! Some advice, you will need at least $5000 for the closing & odds+ends, even if somehow it seems like it will be less. It's amazing how many things you also need to buy "right away" once you get the house. At least the buyer doesn't have to pay a dime to have a realtor do a lot of the legwork. We had a Realtor who would send us e-mails and call whenever there was something in our area and in our budget so we could go look as soon as it popped on the market. All the best houses sell right away, so this is really a huge help to be aware same day of new sales ( ... )

Thanks for the advice! Yeah everyone stresses 20% down but it seems so hard! Thanks for making me feel better about probably not have 60K for a down payment! =)
