I didn't want to read this review until after I'd finished the book in case it was spoilery, but I read it now:) I agree with you, I felt Sam was better developed than Grace. Grace was a little flat to me (other than when she was trying to jump Sam, which was awesome haha. Not once did I think 'Twilight' when reading this. AT ALL. The only common thread is the love at first sight(ish) thing).
I found that I guessed what would happen next pretty easily most of the time, but I did think the writing was stunning. I loved the writing.
And the cover, for sure!
