Crazier - Ensemble of Bale's Psychotic Characters

Mar 08, 2007 18:19

Hey everyone,

I made a new music video called Crazier. It is an exploration of Christian Bale's psychologically disturbed characters from American Psycho, The Machinist, Harsh Times, The Prestige, Batman Begins, and Equilibrium. The video also includes footage from the band's video, so it has a bit of an MTV vibe. The song is Crazier by Gary Numan.

I'm so adding you, if only for your love of Gary Numan. Not enough people appreciate his work.

Hey! Nice to meet another Numanoid! =) If you're on myspace, this is my page. Gary's official myspace site has been posting some of my art. They're currently featuring my tribute video:

Oh, wow, all your vids are just great and I adore them all. I love this one for the craziness-what a great theme, and Bale is so compelling in all these roles. This captures some of that intensity.

I've recently been drawn into Equilibrium and two people rec'd your EQ vids. I've pimped them here. What I love about these two vids in particular is that in addition to perfect cuts and timing, perfect cueing with the music, you also tell a story that goes beyond merely illustrating the song lyrics. Things like the flashing interval of prozium in "Here" add a whole layer of meaning to the action sequences and make them ironic.

Great, great work. I really like all the vids, and I admire your amazing technical acumen.

Wow. That boy needs therapy, his head's a mess. Beautiful illustration what madness is. Oh Mr. Bale, you've played a handsome bunch of crazy persons.
