What a fun thing! What's you're favorite part about going to the zoo?

It varies, from visit to visit, but the Bronx Zoo has a new bug carousel, and I got to ride on a giant grasshopper. Also, the peafowl pretty much go wherever they like, and we saw many peahens followed by tiny peachicks, mostly in the children's zoon, in some instances only inches away from where we stood. And we got to see tigers from no more than ten feet away. Fortunately, there was a very thick pane of plexiglass between us and the big cat.
