season of discovery

It's been an adventure to discover the spring flowers that were planted by the previous owner. For the past weeks now, they've been appearing - daffodils, hyacinth, and tulips thus far. The clematis has been blooming, and other green shoots have appeared, which I am too ignorant of flowers to guess what they will turn out to be. But that's ok -

It really is! I had no idea that I'd be so excited by this. It makes me want to try my hand at some planting myself - except that my ignorance intimidates me.
