Jesus, this Danny is awesomesauce. I loves me badass!Danny, and this was so, so well done. Every word was visceral; every sentence made a point. Really, really well done. Colour me impressed. <3

Very suspenseful! And I like that it was Danny who rescued Steve--the escape/action sequence was handled extremely well.

And of course in the middle of all that, we get to see Steve and Danny's friendship and deep emotional bond.

Great work on this :)

Thank you. I really wanted to show Danny on this warpath, because what he experienced would be so traumatizing.

Wow. I had to read that in two batches because my poor heart couldn't take it. So good!!! Very powerful and it really makes you feel their pain, even more so because the characters were so spot on. Awesome job :D

the wall that was both a lifeline and a weapon

I love that, how you worked that. And this Danny -- oh, yeah. So very much. And Steve apologizing to Danny -- I can so totally hear that.

It's all so vivid and intense, and revealing about each of them and about them as partners. (Boris also makes me happy as the bad guy -- I love his and Danny's "conversations" almost as much as I love the way Danny interprets so well what Steve says and what he doesn't say.) *happiness*

Thank you so much!

You nailed the big line and the story! Because that is what that wall represented. I just wanted to write this gut-wrenching punch to the gut. I've tweaked so many words since I posted...ha! Never doing that again at 1am!
