It feels like you're maybe getting a little more comfortable with your prose. Dialogue's still top-notch. ("I know you want to, but you can't")

I think the Cure fits well. A good choice for your second installment. And don't worry, I now have "Don't mock Kristen0912's TV boyfriend or she'll give you *cancer*" stenciled on all my walls. I feel warned.

You do such a good job with the intimate patter between Logan and Veronica.

"You can’t save me," she thinks. "I know you want to, but you can’t." This just broke me. It was just the way their relationship has always been defined.

This story just feels so good. Once again, this has a rich noir feel to it.
