But people want to look for anything that will take the responsibility out of their own grubby mitts. The "research" os probably skewed by the fact that people will do just what the person you mentioned does: Someone else provides the goods so they aren't responsible for their own actions.
It's got to be someone else's fault, whether it's their parents, McDonald's, their endocrine system or their friends who eat around them.
Maybe I'll just start saying "Don't breath on me. Your fat ass is contagious!" when I walk through Walmart. That would be a good time here! I wonder how long it would take for me to get punched? LOL
I've lost 70 pounds WITH an endocrine disorder (and after having 3 kids and 4 pregnancies in 5 years). There are meds and hormones that you can take for that. It has taken me nearly two years to get this off, and I still have 15 pounds to go. But it has stayed off, which is better than most people who decide they are going to drop 25 pounds in 10 weeks and then gain it all back once they come off their crash diet.
