love my mom: "Call us if you get scared, OK?" because she knows I don't like to be home alone at night. Yep, I'm 25 and afraid of the dark. I think it's more of a fear of the unknown - but at times it manifests itself in the dark.

Having her and my dad five miles up the road has its perks.

...I called my mom to come stay with me at 11 p.m. one night last week because I was alone, and she did. She got here from Jacksonville at 1 a.m. :)
