So I need some help/suggestions from you guys, since I've got a 4 hour flight, then a 9 hour flight and then a 2 hour flight to deal with in December

I'm gonna go ahead and back this up. Sybil is an awesome book, a totally engrossing psychological mess. I really enjoyed it. But then, I like psychological books.
Also, check out the Abhorsen series, which my daughter has on audio mp3. You could load it into your Zune and listen to two books all the way there when you're slightly airsick and tired of looking at things! 8D Plus, they're really good books. XD
As you may well know, I don't actually read "books", lol, but I did read two books by Diana Wyne Jones! Howl's Moving Castle and the supposed "sequel" to it "A castle in the sky" I think was the name. It's not really a sequel, just that some of the same characters show up in it. Like Sophie and Howl and stuff, but they are not the main characters. But it was still quite awesome if I remember correctly. If I can find it (now that my room is completely unorganized) I can lend it to you if you want : ) Also umm... if you want something Japanese I can lend you one of my Conan novels! lol, they are actually really easy to understand, and filled my shinkansen time quite well during my hitori-tabi : )
You have to read DWJ's Chrestomanci/Christopher Chant series. I remember reading it in high school, and those aresome seriously charming and enthralling books. They're really thick, too, so they'll kill a few hours, but at the same time they're really easy to plow right through so they should be perfect for a couple of plane rides! =]
