Noticing a theme here

So, I mainlined all of season one of Hemlock Grove this week. Between the strongly interwoven setting (near where I used to live in PA) and the slow unwrapping of several mysteries, not to mention the overall creepiness -- I really enjoyed it

Is Hemlock Grove the werewolf show? I don't remember hearing much about it.

Yep! Werewolves and gypsies, rednecks, big pharma, serial killers, resurrections, mental hospitals, religious zealots, fortune teller, and every other requirement for increasing the creep factor (including the one you don't find out about until the last ep).

And somehow it's not too over-the-top. Well except in that Twin Peaks-y sort of way. Good music, too.

Hmmm, I don't think DD coffee is overly strong in terms of the caffeine punch! But perhaps that's just my espresso-hardened self speaking.

Hahahaa, that's why I figured I'd be okay. I dunno, maybe it was just a strong batch but jeez!

(And I really have low tolerance for caffeine to start with. And I had it in the afternoon)
