So very many things have happened.
- Thing the first -- I have closed on my house. It's a cute 1954 ranch, one owner since construction (she's still alive at 105). It has good juju. There is a mountain* in the backyard.
- Within 8 hours of closing, I flew to honduras for a week of diving with sea horses and oceanographers and coral gardens and

Meeting with contractors, eeeee! Hee, I wondered when I saw the pics if you were going to put a fence up to keep your boy from running away. (Although he can probably jump fences...?) It looks like you have a nice big yard. (And a New England mountain.)

Yeah... one of the benefits and drawbacks to the house is that it's on one of the two major roads into town-- so I need like a supermax-style-ten-foot-concrete-complete-with-barbed-wire fence to keep all pets off the street. Or something... ;)

Sea horses are the darlingest things. Until just a couple of years ago, I'd never seen a live one. I'd had no idea they were so tiny. And they just kind of float along. So adorable. I'm glad you had a good vacation.
