I can't wait to take my little one to see this movie. I've only heard good reviews!!! I'm gonna go out and buy the Music CD for Cindy, I'm sure she'll love it as well.

the whole prince knocking her up in the tower while sleeping is actually from sleeping beauty. but the prince does get rapunzel pregnant, she ignorantly tells the enchantress, who then throws the prince from the tower next time he comes to visit and thorn bushes blind him...isn't it romantic

Yes I remember that now. It's been almost 7 years since I took that class and all of Grimm's was studied in a two week/four class window.

I hope to see this movie real soon...

and I thought it was Sleeping Beauty where the prince impregnates the princess while she's still sleeping?

Yeah I didn't remember that right. It's been about six years since I took that class and we studied a bunch of the tales at the same time.

High praise indeed, I might actually check this movie out now if the opportunity arises.

You really should. It's funny AND entertaining on top of the normal Disney fairytale fluff for kids. There's a little more violence than most animated Disney flicks have, too, which I think just makes it a little more realistic without being gratuitous.
