I really like how you've mixed humor with a rather serious topic (panic attacks and anxiety) here. The humor definitely lightened up the fic but didn't take away from Baekhyun's struggle at all. ^^ Also, that author's note at the top made a great point - it would be nice if bouts with anxiety always had happy endings but sadly they oftentimes don't.

Yifan's fairly precious in this fic and I'd love to read about Baekhyun's following week at school if you ever feel like expanding this story. I think it would be interesting to see Baek's reaction if/when Yifan acts exactly like that little voice inside Baekhyun is telling him.

His aunt's young; she could make a new Sehun, more obedient and respectful of his elders.
I laughed pretty hard at this part. :D Kid!Hunnie is pretty great, too. ^^

I didn't want to have a lot of focus on Baekhyun's anxiety throughout. That, to me, would make it difficult to read and not all that enjoyable. It was a big part of the prompt, so I worked it in, but I still tried to keep it fairly light by balancing it with some humour and the tone and giving a more happy ending.

I'd love to write more of this, but there are so many other fiiiiiics. orz Because I lack self-control and join a lot of exchanges/fests. uwu;;;; But SOMEDAY I'll return to this story, because I think it has potential to be really cute, even with the anxiety.

I really enjoyed this! And would have wanted to read more. Is there any chance that could happen? It's was kinda weird to picture emo!baek but with your writing the weird disappeared quickly! And young!sehun was such a cool brat. Also cat!kai was cute too!

Maybe. There is a MAYBE stamped on this AU, because as much as I like it, there are other things to write, and I'd have to figure out how I wanted to end it. I think I could continue it easy enough, but endings are hard. Even happy endings, which I have to do, or I'll never forgive myself.

I thought Baekhyun being emo was strange, too, but I liked the prompt and worked with it, and I think it worked? Like, he's still him; it's just another expression of himself that probably heavily comes from that anxious, emotional side. I tried.

Cat!Kai is m favourite. UwU He just sleeps.
