Not feeling up to a coherent post, so here's a bulleted list.
- Watched The Avengers. Great fun. RDJ was even prettier than in the Iron Man films (I think aging is agreeing with him). Captain America, on the other hand, really needed to lose that stick up his (admittedly not bad to look at) arse. I booed whenever he was mean to my darling Tony,

Hope the persistent pigeons aren't scaring off the nicer birdies. And that you can keep persistent!pigeons from nesting.
*hugs* While I hope that the enjoyment with writing will come back eventually, I can understand giving up where there is no enjoyment. I do hope there has been some fun with writing in the past. I've certainly enjoyed the results.
Argh with clothes shopping. Hope you have better luck next time.
Tired of chocolate?!
Idea of new TV must be shiny.
Kobo certainly knows how to get you to buy from them!

(I confess, though, that I hope one day you'll come back to it. Your last exchange fic was one of my absolute favourites.)
Clothes shopping sucks in general. I still haven't found the right jeans for me in this country.
Regarding exercise, it's worth doing some thorough investigation on the internet about how to deal with the kind of problems you're getting. Me, I'm wondering if there's some dietary re-jigging that might help your tendons/ligaments/other tissues adapt better to being used. *more hugs*
I'm trying to think if there's something that might cheer you up in general ...

Thanks. I'm just not really in a very up-cheerable place right now, I think.

Sorry to hear you sounding so depressed in general...

Yay for Avengers - so glad you liked it!
Is there another sort of exercise you could do instead of walking that would take pressure off your feet? Missing out on a daily endorphin boost might make things harder. :(
Clothes shopping is a fickle beastie.
Definitely only write if it brings you some sort of enjoyment. I'm also completely out of that loop these days. It feels like a real chore whenever I try.

There's no exercise other than walking that I'd even be willing to contemplate. Exercise has always been something I loathe - it's never ever given me enjoyment, just something I think I "should" do (well, I know I should, or I'll become one with the chair some day). Walking's really always been the best of the bad options, not just the only accessible one.
I should probably look into some kind of sports shoes that are kind to my heels. I doubt they'd help much with tendon pain, but my actual heels seem to be in pain these days, too, so perhaps that would help.
