Thank you :D aelfgyfu_mead was the one who thought up the immunity part in a conversation elsewhere. Up until then I couldn't figure out squat that would make this story possible.

I'm currently working on an AU where Neal (mostly due to fears he'd get Peter into Big Trouble, plus all the reasons he's already given for wanting to stay in NYC) doesn't run, and spends some time as Kramer's C.I. (title: "Indentured Servitude"). My biggest problem is trying to get Neal back in NYC with Peter... :-(

AWWWWWWWWWWWW. This is a really awesome Neal-coming-home story; I love this idea for Neal's homecoming and exoneration, and Neal feeling safe and comfortable enough to fall asleep on Peter is simply adorable.

Sweet. Somehow I don't see Neal's return to New York being this lacking in chase scenes and crazy stunts. But, I really liked the idea of Neal winning his way back through some heroic but plan of his own.
