Ah yes, I too am EXTREMELY excited about Rurouni Kenshin coming to CN. Unfortunately, I'm sure they're going to edit it HORRIBLY because of all the "blood" and such. -_-; ::Sigh:: It's a shame they couldn't bring it to Adult Swim or something..

About Japanese culture.. I've found myself growing more and more interested about Japan. With shows like Card Captor Sakura and Inuyasha where they show family and school life, I find myself curious about daily life and such for Japanese teenagers. When I get to college in two years I'm hoping I can maybe study a little bit about it.. despite the odd looks I get from my parents when I tell them this idea. ^^;; Ah well..

Mmm.. I am in love with Kazaa.. I've downloaded all these episodes of Inuyasha, Escaflowne, Chobits, hack//SIGN, ect. It's great.. and illegal! xD

I know, why not just bring it to adult swim? do they really think a show about a samurai could pass a being non-violent? psht.
I'm totally interested in the japanese culture...if I knew more japanese, I would jump on the chance to study abroad there! have you read that book "anime explosion"? it's really interesting. I got it from the library, and it was so good I had to buy it. it's about the themes and cultural footnotes to anime. "the anime companion" is pretty good, too.
I have kazaa, but my computer would never survive downoading anime....it's toooooooo old.... T_T

Kristen, thank you so much for your post, dude. It made me feel alot better, seriously. Sometimes it's nice to just know that someone feels the same. I really think that if you want to, Kristen, you should join the army. You could do it. It might be hard as it IS the army, but everything worthwhile in life is hard, right? I don't know. I guess I just feel like I don't want to sit around waiting to do the things I want to do. It's so frustrating! Anyway, I wish the same happiness on you :)
Luff a whole lot,
Jamie

thanks!... I'd love to try the army. (or the marines...) but my problem is how they insist you stay for so long. it's not like a summer internship...and if it was, who knows. I might go for it.
I hear what you're saying, I just want to do something that's not so tedious like go to school go to work do homework...blah blah. dying my hair and getting a tattoo, or extra piercing, that might be a good start... ^_~
eye lurve yoo!
