Stupid computer, not working right still. Stupid virus program not working right and stupid tech site! So I spent three hours on the help site last night trying to get it to work. All the questions and answers that could possibly pertain to my problem did not HELP! So I finally emailed the tech or whoever, and asked my question. I get up this

Maybe I can help? I've wrestled and fought with almost every major virus program on the market and managed to subdue most of them. What seems to be the difficulty?

When I go to down load up dates it says that the program isn't conected to the internet. Well I found a page on the help site about that and it told me to change the browser settings. So I did that and it still didn't work. I tried a couple of other things that sounded like they might help and it still didn't work. Now neither of my mouses work with the computer however and when I tried to start it up last time it was being really slow so I finally just shut it down. Problem is the lady who said she'd look at it and hopefully fix it can't do it till next weekend, and I can't get it to her next weekend cause she works with my dad but my dad's going out of town tomorrow so I can't get the computer to her till weekend after next. Which leaves me without my computer for two weeks... or more depending on how long it takes her to fix the bloody piece of shit.

I see. I had that problem at my work pc. The only thing I can suggest is to check the Windows Components and look at the TCP/IP component. If the checkbox is grey, uncheck the box and recheck it. Basically what may be the problem is that your computer may have inadvertently uninstalled a portion of your network drivers.

Hmmmm okay, have to see if I can get my computer to work. It's kinda hard to click on things when the mouse clicker won't work. I'll boot it up again tomorrow and see if it's not working somewhat better then it was earlier today. Stupid daytime work schedual has me tired way too early *makes a face* Thanks hon.
