If you would like to go introduce yourself to Ginger Ruth that would give you something to do in Alabama!! Or you could go to the Tourism board in Alabama online and see what kind of events you and Kathy are interested in for another long weekend!!

Ha. I don't know what's in Alabama either. :)

Illinois is a horrible state to drive through. Nothing but corn fields to look at. That's pretty much all I did there.

Michigan isn't too bad. Very pretty and people for the most part are very nice. Driving through Detroit after dark was kind of scary though, heh.
