Okay, excitement for the day. I have 3-4 foot green iguana in the office. I don't know how he got in. Maybe during the storm when the side door got blown off or maybe while the A/C guy was fixing the unit out back leaving the door hanging open but I need to get him out. I kept hearing noises like things falling over so now I have a plastic bin with ( Read more... )

Thank you. I left a trail of small leaves hoping to lure it out but I have to leave in 35 minutes and it could have settled in for the evening. *frowns*

Would light or dark work? We used to do that with birds in the lounge. They would go towards the light.

This guy got himself wedged in last night and stayed put. The boss and I had to move everything this morning, chase him around the office until he made the mistake of running behind a heavy metal sign leaning against a wall. We got him in a bin and outside. Now I hope he stays out there and doesn't come back inside through the holes in the missing fascia around the porch.

You're a braver woman than I. Hope it found his way out

I was a little nervous about his teeth. I got ahold of his tail once but some of them can let that come off, too. He was still in the same spot this morning and the boss and I had to get him out, chase him around the building until he got himself in a place where we could corner him in a bin and take him outside. It was exciting and tense for a few minutes but he's out and I hope he stays out. We have fascia missing from several places which might be how he got in and allow him in again. Don't want to go through that again.

Wow! That's awesome! We had a giant spider in the house last night and I thought that was bad!

Turns out he looked a lot bigger lying in the doorway of the board room. He was only about foot and a half but still not something I wanted to try to grab. He was still wedged beside the bookcase in the morning so the boss and I had to empty the bookcase, move it which just chased him under the bookcase and then eventually he ran out into the main part of the office and lucky for us behind a metal sign. It was easier to get him a bin and out the door after that. What an adventure.
