I was thinking he was lucky it didn't take his hand off. Probably in deep shock. But somehow knew he was helping.

Wow, that's an amazing story!
Great that he could provide first aid to the koala.

I can only imagine all that those rescue workers are going through... probably similar to the experience many had here with Sept.11, 2001.

I would imagine that there is going to be a lot of traumatized people for quite awhile...
