Mini PortCon blurb as I can't sleep for work at the moment. I got best in show for Craftsmanship! I'm still stunned about that. (Judges said it was a pretty easy decision when discussing it after the Masq) I found our skit on youtube already.

...and I'm really surprised your bag never turned up. I figured that after the thief went through it looking for valuables, they'd abandon it somewhere. (Isn't that sort of the code among wallet thiefs? Take the cash and put the rest in a mailbox so the owner gets back their license and other stuff not worth stealing?)

Check with the hotel today. Maybe someone left it in their room (which would be really dumb since then we'd know who stole it.) Apparently some people stole cushions off couches on Saturday night, but put them back Sunday before the hotel could find out who did it. The hotel was pissed about that. I also heard there were 5 rooms that were so trashed that people will be getting some extra charges on their credit cards. According to Julie, the rooms were completely disgusting.

I've gone to 52 anime cons now and it's really sad to see how disrespectful many of the attendees have become over the last year or two.

ugh, I have to say, apart from the suitcase thing (I was so sorry to see you stuck in the hotel room all Friday working to replace stuff!) I think the laughter drowning out our audio was the MOST disappointing part of the whole weekend. Not that it was a disappointing weekend, lol, 'cause it really pwnd epically, but it really made our skit sloppy XP

Congrats again ;) Though...I guess does this mean you're out of the craftsmanship competition at CTcon then?

I'll have to see about rules. But I think I'm out for Craftsmanship. CTcon is a bigger con, but I'd feel like I'm sandbagging if I entered Ursula again.

I've already bought the fabric to make a new leotard. I'm gonna attempt to make a tank leotard this time around.
