Aaron got his glasses yesterday. It has been so amazing watching him discover his world. It's as if he is seeing everything for the first time. When we got home, he sat in my lap, and rubbed my face, and smiled at me. He plays with his toys diffrently, and he enjoys looking at books now.

Not to mention, he looks absolutly adorable!!!!

And his glasses are just like Eowyn's gold ones.

P.S. Why did he need the glasses? Did he have the cross eye too or was it something else?

well, his left eye tends to cross. But over the last month, I noticed him starting to run into things like walls, doors, etc.

I took him into a pediatric eye doctor and he determined him near sighted in one eye, but farsighted in the other.

Once he gets used to wearing the glasses, we have to start patching his good eye for a few hours every night.

Oh! I'm near sighted in one and far sighted in the other.

You're going to be patching? We've had to do that several times with Drama. Eowyn has a follow-up next month and he'll decide then if it's progressed to where we'll need to patch but he thought her muscles were strong enough that it wouldn't be necessary in her case. Are they thinking at this point he will need surgery or he'll be able to avoid that?
