The First Mark: a variation on a theme from my notes

The first mark in a sketchbook or journal holds a very special importance. It is the purpose of this mark to set the tone for the rest of the entrys. The first mark within these notes was an entry from my MSN space discussing my purchase of a new camera. That particular mark did not serve its purpose correctly. it was a weak blurb about nothing
